why did i die in paper io 2 when nobody even touched me?
was just drawing a big loop to grab territory and then i just died out of nowhere, no other player was even close to me. thought it was a bug

not a bug, you ran into your own trail. same rule as getting cut by another player, if the line youre drawing loops back and touches itself anywhere before you make it home you die instantly. happens most when youre making one huge loop across the map, the path curves back over ground you already crossed and you dont even notice until youre already dead
